Now is waiting time...

Now that I've finished the book, I just have to wait for my mom and friends to edit it. The only things I can do now are write queries and find agents. I can't even send anything, because it isn't the final copy yet! Well, one of my friends who's an amazing artist told me that she'd be happy to do cover art and pictures of the characters sometimes too, and I took her up on that. She's reading the book now(or was, last time we talked) and she says that once she's done she'll work on a few cover ideas, as well as work on some characters. I'm interested on what they'll look like when she's done...I'm kinda bored now but I'll probably find something to do. I have a few ideas anyway...Plus, I COULD go to bed soon...lol.

Book is DONE!!

EEP EEEEP EEEEEP! DONNNNEEEEE!!! All I need to do now is get it printed, and let my mom and friend edit it, then I can let the next few days waste away on Sims 3!! YAY FOR WASTING AWAY DAYS ON SIMS 3! heehee...I'll calm down now, and go do what I have to do...and text my friend and tell her that my book was finished today! I finished writing the book on Christmas, I'll remember that...for those random things that people sometimes care about but not most of the time...

Almost there...EXCITEMENT!

Okay, so I'm at 59.6k words now...I had to write 2k a day just a few days ago...and now I have a week to write 5k! I'll still write as much as I can each day, but since it's 10pm Christmas eve and stuff, I'm gonna go to my room after eating something really fast and TRY to fall asleep. I can't wait to finish the book! I'll finally have a break from writing THAT...so I can write fanfiction, just for fun, instead! Or I can work on the books sequel, or better yet, I can work on ANOTHER book! I have to wait until my editors finish editing the book, then I have to go through and edit it myself. After that I think I'll write queries and send of the queries and hope someone likes my book!

Making progress...Lots of progress.

I'm VERY excited to say that I'm at 50k words! actually, I'm at 51k...and I don't think I'm done writing 'tonight' yet! (even though it's actually a little past midnight...) I'm having a hard time forming the correct words, but I know what I want to happen, and I'm making the words come, after a bit of difficulty! If it's the same length of my last copy, this will only be another 14,000 words or so. That means I could afford writing a little less than 2,000 a day for the next 8! OR...I could just keep writing and write as much as I can in one day, and hopefully write the book to be slightly longer! It's kinda disappointing that I can't write a huge book, that's like, 800,000 words long, but shorter books can be good too! Plus, I think my plot's good enough and my writing style is good enough(and getting better) that it won't matter the length of the book or my age. My friend knows a teen in our grade who got a literary agent, so I can too! I'll shut up now, and keep writing until I'm falling asleep on my desk. Or until I REALLY wanna go to sleep...either way...bye for now!

Doing good!

Okay, so I'm on chapter 11 and I've been doing pretty good, but I haven't written that much today...I know that I can actually afford not writing all 2000 words today, and I've already written 1k, but I really SHOULD write all 2k. well, it's only a little after 5 and I stay up til around 11 usually, so I guess I'll just have to try to get my 2k done, and then probably keep going...the more I write each day and the closer I get to done, the better! (but I'm not gonna write 20 pages a day like Kaleb Nation says he has to do...) I can't wait until I finish it. I think tonight I may get to one of the really really big parts of the book, one of the huge twists, but that's only if I get to around 50k words, I think. Well, bye now!

I'm doing good now...

Yesterday I wrote around 3 or 4k words, and found out that I need to write 2k a day for the next 12 days, including today, until New Years Eve and Xmas. I think after that though, I'll be able to relax. I'll have it printed out for my mom to edit and I'll send it to my friend to edit and I'll either work on other books or read or play Sims. I may end up just playing Sims almost 24/7 minus when I'm hanging out with friends for 3 days straight. then I have to go back to school...maybe during February I'll start editing it myself, if my mom finishes editing her copy by then...I wonder if it'd be possibly to get it published by the end of 2010? Ooooh I really can't make that my goal...but my goal will be to find a literary agent by the end of 2010. I'll be a Junior by then! This is pretty exciting to think about...I started this book really early this year, and for it to be finished in less than a year would be amazing...of course, this is only the second copy...I may need to write ANOTHER copy of it...-faints-well, I'm gonna go write the last 200 words of my 2k for today, and maybe continue so I'll possibly be able to take a break on Xmas...bye now!

13 days, too many words...

So...my goal was to be able to finish this book, at least the writing of this copy, by the end of this year. 13 days away. I just wrote a thousand words in about an hour, and there's plenty more time tonight for me to hopefully churn out a good 2k, 3k, or 4k words, if not more. I need, actually, a little under 30,000 words to get it to what it was before, or close. 28k now, actually. I'm going to continue working on the book, and try to get to 40k words tonight...(I have 37.6k done). Bye!

I...hate...writers block!!

Okay, because I'm 15 and all and in highschool, I have finals. my finals are not this upcoming wednesday to friday but the next all that. BUT I'm going to force myself to study most of the time and not hang out with friends, and probably not write much over the next 2 weeks, starting tomorrow, until Friday night. I hope I do well on my finals!! after that, thank God, is winter break, and that means I'll have a break! over those 2 weeks, I will probably play Sims and write a LOT. I have over 34k words, which means I only have around 30k until it's as long as it was before!! I can't wait...I can't write right now because my sister is using my computer for a good reason, so I'm using her laptop. BUT these keys piss me off. anyway, once I put this up, I'm going to find other things to do for a bit until my sis finishes writing and all.
