writers rush?

I don't know if this is a writers rush...probably not, but I DID finish my 1k words for the day! and now I still want to write, so I'm guessing it is! I don't care, I'm just happy to be getting so much written! So far, in two days I wrote over 3k words! That's awesome for me! I'd be even happier if I reached 2k tonight! Sadly, I don't know if I will, since I may be going halloween costume shopping and I have to do homework! I think I may stop writing soon, finish some homework, and go back to writing! anyway, I say bye for now so I can get a bit more written before I ditch my book for the school books.

*Quick Update*

Going to sleep now, or to read or something on my bed. Anyway, off computer. Today I wrote exactly 2,330 words and went on a site that seems VERY helpful...I can't wait until I finish writing this thing and can actually write some queries and send them out! I have a huge list of people I'm sending to, considering it's my first book and it would help if I sent it to a lot of people at once so I can have a higher chance to get my Agent! I'm in a good mood, though I'm tired, and I can't wait for tomorrow! Who knows how much I will write tomorrow!! So for now I say byebye! :D

I'm on a writing rush...or I just was and I just got off it.

Okay, so I COULD shut up and not update again tonight but I just wanted to update you guys AGAIN on this. I am still working on chapter 3, and it's only somewhere between 3k and 4k words, but just tonight I've written almost 2k. That makes me really, really, excited, because that's what I was writing back in May, when I did all those 69 posts and was still on my first copy. Now, it's way harder, since I'm trying to get a higher quality writing so I have to pay more attention to my words and not repeating a word too much too close together. This makes me really proud of myself! If I keep writing tonight, and get really high in words just written tonight, I'll be really excited! The more done now, the closer I am to finishing this copy of the book, the closer I am to getting an agent and feeling special and getting my book published! Which means moolah for me!(If I kept going it would mean a laptop for me that's big and expensive and awesome and an iPod touch and more awesome things :D, oh, and money saved up for college... :P )

Doing pretty good...

Another random post. I've been doing good, writing over 1k words a night, but I had a problem when I was sick earlier this week and didn't write for maybe 2 days. I think I made up one of those days almost, but it really doesn't matter, because it's not like I'm going to get in trouble! I had a writers rush, but what I just wrote is just a lot of Zoe(main character, if you don't know) thinking. Nothin much other than that. I'm at almost 24,000 though! At minimum, I want to write another 40,000 words in this story. AND I thought of a one-shot for my OWN book...but I can't put it in my book, because it just can't fit in anywhere. Anyway, I feel better now, thank goodness, and I'll be hopefully writing more than 1k per night for a lot of nights, so I can get this book out FASTER than that! Oi...I don't wanna think about what the next step is after I write it...considering it's having at least 2 or 3 people I trust editing it and others reading it...ahhh editinggg...THEIR editing equals my editing and editing their editings. then I have to reread it to make sure there's no major mistakes because I don't want any mistakes in mah book, and all that before I can write a query! BAH oh well. I'm gonna keep writing, try to get another 400 words at LEAST out of me tonight, probably more. bye!

semi-writing-rush back?

Well, I'm in a sorta-kind-writing-rush right now. I started writing at 4 tonight, and have almost 2k words written! yay! And I ended up getting rid of A LOT of events, shortening them and making everything closer together. All the events from Chapter's 5, 6, and 7 seem to be written in chapter 4 and 5, so far. That means that there's probably going to be less chapters. That's okay though, since I already had 28 chapters, making it into 23 or 24 won't hurt the book. I think this copy is better anyway. So, I've kinda broken my promises a lot. I just made it to 20,000 tonight, weeks after I said I would, but I'm hoping to be able to write it faster now. Like, I'll probably stop reading and playing so many games and I'll start writing way more, hopefully, I'll be able to force myself to finish at least 1k words a night, sometimes more, which means I'll hopefully finish it before the next 60 days passes! probably not, but still! It'd feel awesome to finish writing this book in 2009, the same year I started writing it! Anyway, since I'm almost done with 2k and I'm at around 21k right now, I'll try getting to 22k words tonight, and tomorrow reach 23k. I think 1k a day is a more realistic and reachable goal that 10k per week! So I'm going to finish that now...byebye!!

Another Chapter Finished!

So, just now, I almost wrote 2,000 words! I finished chapter 3 as well. almost 17,000 words done. I think this weekends goal will be 20k and I'll keep doing every OTHER weekends goal is another 10k. that makes more sense for me, at the moment. Anyway, I'm gonna go write some of chapter 4! I just have to skim over the OLD chapter 4 and organize what I want and don't want from then.
